and all the glory

1.  No one but you

     could have got the idea

     to descend

     here so poor and frail

     to meet the needy

     with God’s grace.

 

 

 2.  No one but you

     could have got the idea

     to descend

     into bread and wine

     to feed the hungry

     with yourself.

 

 

 3.  No one but you

     could have got the idea

     to descend

     in our human hearts

     to give your witness

     now through us.
